C.1885-1887. A long bustle made out of white cotton. The fullness of the bustle is adjustable by the lacing on theinside
of the bustle, which controls each of the 8 watchspring ribs located down the back
. Feaures a flounce on the end of the bustle
for extra fullness.
The waist fastens with ties and would fit up to a 36" waist. In lovely strong condition with two places where period repairs have been made on the right side to the end of the bone channel and two moth holes on the bottom flounce. There is rust staining on each bone
channel from the watchspring "bones". No rips or tears.
