C.1895-1896. A working class everyday wear bodice made of printed cotton.
It is quite sturdy and functional for house/ farm work but still is very fashionable. Made with the popular Leg 'O Mutton sleeves, it features a pointed collar instead of a high standing collar. Could this have been for comfort during
work? Its gathered at the front to give it a blouse like effect, but it's still heavily boned with 6 metal bones. She was quite tall who originally owned it as the sleeves are even long on me at 5'9".
Measurements: bust 41", waist 30".
