C.1895-1900. A rarely found item of children's wear, these would have been handed down from child to child until it wore out.
The nightgown would have been worn by a 3-5 year old and is made out of white cotton with Broderie Anglaise trim
It's in wonderful strong condition with only a little fray hole at the back of the left shoulder blade. It was missing it's buttons but I've sewn on original turn of the century white linen covered buttons with silk thread since the photos were taken. Measurements: Shoulders 10 1/2", Chest 29" waist is free. Length 25", sleeve length 11 1/2".
