C.1900. A white cotton coutil child's back brace. These were worn to correct bad posture
or to train a young ladies in correct deportment. I don't believe these were worn universally as they are very uncomfortable.
Lace trim around the arm holes and only the back
is boned. Fan lacing adjusts the degree of tightness and the straps buckle around the front
of the corset. Original label says 'Imperial Health Brace'.
